Welcome to the Montsaye Sports Centre Swimming Pool, a family‑friendly facility offering a wide range of swimming sessions, lessons and aquatic activities for all ages and abilities. Our pool operates all year round and is open to both members and pay‑as‑you‑go visitors, making it a convenient choice for fitness, fun and community swimming.

We also welcome local primary schools for curriculum swimming, helping young swimmers gain confidence and essential water skills. School swimming is available on an exclusive basis in our secure facility on the grounds of Montsaye Academy, where there is no public access during school hours.

Under‑8s Admission Policy

For safety, Montsaye Sports Centre operates a clear supervision policy for younger swimmers:

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or adult (aged 16 or over) and supervised in the pool by that adult at all times.
Under 8s swimming policy: 1 adult can supervise up to 2 children under the age of 8 years, providing weak and non-swimmers wear an approved flotation device and stay within the non-swimmer line.

Portable pool hoist available at the shallow end
All staff fully trained in operating accessibility equipment
Dedicated accessible changing facilities

In the interest of hygiene, we ask all swimmers to shower prior to swimming. Babies/Toddlers must wear protective nappies in the water.
You are requested not to swim for 48 hours following sickness or diarrhoea. Inform a lifeguard if you have any medical conditions. If diagnosed with Crypto this period should be two weeks.
